I discovered Naturopathic Medicine while studying plant medicine at Dancing Willow Herbs in Durango, Colorado. I knew right then and there it was the perfect fit for me and how I wanted to help support patients along their journey to health.

I am a board-certified and Oregon licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND). I have a passion for botanical medicine and empowering my patients with the knowledge and tools to get back to health and well-being. It is my goal to support and guide patients to living their most vibrant and vital lives. I believe in meeting my patients where they are and creating individualized treatment plans for each person. My job is to be a detective and scientist to discover what the root cause of your disharmony is. As a scientific artist, I utilize western herbs, homeopathy, nutrition, myofascial release, hydrotherapy and supplementation in your treatment and care.

Prior to attending the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), in Portland, OR, I worked as an educator, organic farmer and herbalist in the Adirondack Mountains in New York State and in the San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado for over 10 years.  It was in addition to these experiences and my love for the environment, my curiosity for the plant world and all-things wild, that I came to Naturopathic Medicine.

While attending NUNM, I received my certification from the New England School of Homeopathy (NESH). I also hold a certificate in Myofascial Release and Visceral Manipulation from Moving Mountain Institute. Prior to medical school, I completed a 3-month residential native medicinal plant internship with United Plant Savers in SE Ohio and a 10-month herbal and botany internship with clinical herbalist, Elise Krohn. I also had the fortunate opportunity to study with herbalist and environmental activist, Cascade Anderson-Geller, while living in Portland.

I specialize in working and supporting patients with gastrointestinal disruptions, endocrine conditions, such as thyroid disorders and sugar dysregulation, hormone imbalances, anxiety, depression, musculoskeletal pain and toxic environmental exposures. I see all ages and genders and approach each patient as an individual, not a diagnosis.

When I am not in the office, you can find me at The Yoga Lab, on a trail with my shepherd/collie mix, Bowie, or creating delicious food and medicine in the kitchen. I love all things plants including identification, wildcrafting, gardening, and medicine making.
